Health and Comfort Guidelines for GPPAE

Bathroom Breaks and Leaving the Test Room

At GPPAE, we are committed to providing a comfortable and respectful testing environment for all candidates. To ensure fairness and minimize distractions, specific rules apply to bathroom breaks and leaving the test room during the exam.

The Writing sub-tests are conducted consecutively, and there are no scheduled breaks, including bathroom breaks, between sections. Candidates are encouraged to plan accordingly before the test begins.

For GPPAE on Paper at a test venue, bathroom breaks are allowed only during the Writing tests, except during the first and last 10 minutes of each test.

If you need to take a bathroom break:

  • Raise your hand to notify the invigilator.
  • Wait until you are escorted by the invigilator before leaving the room.
  • No additional time will be provided for bathroom breaks.
  • Only one candidate may leave the room at a time.

If you expect to require more frequent breaks due to reasons such as pregnancy or a medical condition, you can request a Testing Accommodation while booking your GPPAE exam. This ensures that your comfort needs are met without compromising test security or fairness.
